Smooth and consistent, UltraStock Select and UltraStock Premium medium density fiberboard (MDF) panels are designed for outstanding machining and finishing. UltraStock Lite offers the additional benefit of reduced product weight to the mix.
ULTRASTOCK® MR AND ULTRASTOCK® FR

Engineered to meet the thickness swell and bond integrity criteria required for an MR501 designation, UltraStock MR also provides premium workability for applications subject to moisture exposure. When a fire-resistant panel with low flame spread and smoke developed characteristics is required, choose UltraStock FR with MR50 properties.
ULTRASTOCK® EMBOSSING

Produced with an optimized light weight and surface smoothness, UltraStock Embossing works especially well for machining, edge foil and molding applications.

ECC CERTIFICATION

UltraStock MDF produced at the Georgia-Pacific facility in Mt. Jewett, Pennsylvania, has earned the Composite Panel Association’s (CPA) Eco-Certified Composite (ECC) grademark, which verifies compliance with the CPA 4-19 ECC Sustainability Standard, the California Air Resources Board (CARB) Air-borne Toxic Control Measure (ATCM) 93120 and EPA TSCA Title VI.

FSC® CERTIFICATION

UltraStock MDF is certified to the requirements of Forest Stewardship Council® standards for FSC Mix Chain of Custody and Controlled Wood and is available by special order.

The fire-retardant chemicals used to treat ULTRASTOCK

FR products may affect the performance of certain adhesives for lamination, the ability of the board to hold paint or print, color retention of certain veneers and possibly other performance characteristics. We recommend that all value-added processes and product additions be fully evaluated for compatibility with our fire-rated products. These evaluations should consider not only the process but the coatings, fasteners, adhesives, overlays and any other treatment that involves contact with the substrate.
