Wood laminate floor square samples

Premium surfaces—synthetic durability or real-wood character.

Laminates and veneers are the materials that define the look, feel, and performance of your finished surfaces. They allow designers, fabricators, and manufacturers to achieve the exact aesthetic they want—whether that’s a real-wood story or a high-performance, color-consistent laminate.

Laminates

HPL – High Pressure Laminate

A durable, synthetic surface made by pressing layers of paper and resin under high pressure. Laminates are known for:

  • Excellent wear resistance
  • Color consistency across all sheets
  • Strong performance in high-traffic or moisture-prone environments

These are not real wood—but they offer reliable, repeatable finishes that hold up under pressure.

Real Wood Veneers

A thin layer of genuine wood bonded to a backer for stability. Veneers deliver the warmth, texture, and authenticity only real wood provides. Most of our stocked veneers come on paperback or phenolic backers for easier fabrication.

Additional backer options are available depending on the manufacturer and your application—including 10-mil, 20-mil, and peel-and-stick formats.

Matching Finishes

We offer prefinished wood veneers and HPL laminates in coordinated designs, allowing you to match panels, surfaces, and edges across an entire space. This is essential for designers and millworkers working on premium, cohesive interiors.

Shipping & Delivery

  • Smaller laminate and veneer orders are boxed and shipped via UPS or FedEx.
  • Larger orders are palletized and shipped via truck freight.
  • When ordered with plywood, sheets can be flat-packed together for efficient shipment.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • What’s the difference between laminates and veneers?

Laminates (HPL) are synthetic, high-durability surfaces made from paper and resin layers. Veneers are real wood sliced thin and bonded to a backer. Laminates offer consistent color and performance; veneers offer natural texture and variation.

  • When should I specify laminate instead of veneer?

Use laminates for high-traffic, moisture-prone, or heavy-use environments where durability is critical. Use veneers when the project calls for real-wood character and a premium aesthetic.

  • What backer options are available?

Most stocked products come on paperback or phenolic backers for stability and easy fabrication. Depending on the line, 10-mil, 20-mil, and peel-and-stick options are available.

  • Do laminates and veneers come prefinished?

Many of our veneers are available prefinished, which reduces finishing time and keeps tone consistent. Laminates are factory-finished during manufacturing and do not require additional finishing.

  • Can I get laminates and veneers in matching designs?

Yes. Several of our product lines include matching veneers, laminates, and edgebanding so your panels, surfaces, and edges follow the same tone and grain story.

  • How large are the sheets?

Standard sizes are usually 4×8, but many lines also come in larger formats depending on the manufacturer. Tell us your elevation or layout and we’ll help you choose the right size.

  • Are real-wood veneers consistent in color and grain?

Veneers are natural materials, so some variation is expected. Prefinished and engineered veneer lines offer more controlled color and grain uniformity.

  • How do you ship laminate and veneer sheets?

Smaller orders are boxed and shipped via UPS or FedEx. Larger orders are palletized and delivered by truck freight. When ordered with plywood, we can flat-pack everything together for efficient shipping.

  • Can you help me select the right material for my application?

Absolutely. Whether you’re a designer, fabricator, or procurement manager, we can help match your project’s requirements—durability, tone, backer type, edge options—with the right product.
