Placing other wood species in the spotlight relieves the pressure on highly coveted wood species, such as oak. We aim to utilise every part of the trunk and therefore we reduce waste to a minimum.
The wood veneer and carriers used for the Nuxe collection are sourced from responsibly-managed forests and are FSC® (FSC-C095327)-certified. After all, proper sustainability starts in the forest.
The top layer of the Nuxe panels consists of an expertly crafted sheet of wood veneer. Every sheet is composed using our mixmatch technique, yielding unrivaled perfection and uniqueness.
Mastered over decades, this signature technique provides an uniform surface. Various slicing techniques are applied to select timber cuts from different trees, which are then randomly joined together into a sheet.
Each panel is characteristically unique to solid wood without visual inconsistencies or structural compromises.
Nuxe panels are available in 2 versions
Nuxe panels consist of a veneered front and back, as well as an 18 mm thick MDF-or chipboard. A veneered panel should always have a counter layer to achieve proper stability.
